Gunsmith activities are defined as follows: ~ Engraving, Customizing, Refinishing or Repairing Firearms ~ The definition of a firearm pursuant to 27 CFR 478.11 is: "Any weapon, including a starter gun, which will or is designed to or may readily be converted to expel a projectile by the action of an explosive; the frame or receiver of any such weapon; any firearm muffler or firearm silencer; or any destructive device; but the term shall not include an antique firearm". ___________________________________________________________________________________
This means that you may send us certain parts of a firearm. i.e. stock... scope... barrel... grip... laser... clip... gun case... tripods... etc. If the item is questionable, please call before shipping. If you're not sure about taking your gun apart or re-assembly, please consult an authorized gun shop.
